AMATEURS Event:

Super Tibreak: $18
To play the super-tiebreak, you must enroll in one of the main categories listed above

You can play up to 4 mains categories plus the super-tiebrake.

The first 50 registrants will get a special discount, 3 categories for the price of 2.

ITF Players:

If you're participating in the ITF (PRO) event your team must be registered on the IPIN website for both events.
The deadline for registration is October 30rd.

Over 40's and Under 16's Event:
*The Over 40's categories will be divided into male and female, and mixed teams will not be accepted. Any player who turns 40 years old in 2023 is eligible to participate in this category.

**Under 16's teams can consist of one male and one female player, two male players, or two female players.Each player must be no older than 16 years old on the day of the tournament.

​ITF BT10 & Over 40's/16's

Please note that players participating in the ITF BT10 who do not reach the quarter-finals will be eligible to compete in the Over 40's or Under 16's category on Friday, November 15th.

Singles category with maximum of 16 doubles in a elimination round (any level combination).

ITF & Open Level Category with maximum of 16 doubles in a elimination round. 

All games will be played in two set first in 6 games No-Ad scoring and a Match Tie-break in lieu of a third set.

Amateurs Doubles Categories

The Amateurs Tournament will be divided into groups, where all teams within the same group will compete against each other.

All matches in the group stage will be played in one set, with the first team to reach 6 games.
In the finals, the format will be one set to 8 games.

Each team is guaranteed to play at least two games in the tournament.

Beach Tennis Team Cup

The Beach Tennis Team Cup is an exciting side event exclusively for participants registered in the Sydney Beach Tennis Open 2024. This team-based competition allows players to showcase their skills in a dynamic and fun environment, fostering camaraderie and competition among fellow competitors.
 

Important Note:
Participation in the Beach Tennis Team Cup is strictly limited to those already playing in the main Sydney Beach Tennis Open 2024. Players cannot register solely for the Team Event without competing in the main tournament. This ensures that all competitors are fully engaged in the main event and allows for a seamless integration of both individual and team-based play.

Make sure to join your team, compete, and represent your group in this knockout-format challenge for additional thrills alongside the main event!

Important notes

1. Players are restricted to participating in only one level; please consult your coach for guidance if your level has not been specified yet.

2. It is not allowed for players to compete in multiple levels within the same category, such as both doubles B and doubles C, even with different partners. No exceptions will be made.

3. Please note that our alternative categories, Singles, Juniors (under 16s) and Over 40s, do not have specific levels.

4. The Sydney Beach Tennis Open 2024 spans three days. 

5. We strongly advise against booking departure flights on Sunday after 7 pm. Any matches scheduled late on Sunday that you are unable to attend will result in a walkover (WO).

Time & Schedule

The tournament will commence on Friday, the 15th, beginning at 7am, followed by matches starting at 7 am on Saturday, the 16th, and Sunday, the 17th.

Originally, the tournament was scheduled to conclude at 3 pm on Sunday. However, please note that this timeline might be subject to change due to weather forecasts and the possibility of longer matches.

The official schedule will be released on November 12th, Via Tournify.
ITF Tournament draws will be accessible the day before the scheduled event.

All doubles teams are required to check in at the tournament 30 minutes before their scheduled match time. If any player is absent from the court at the scheduled time, a walkover (W.O.) will be enforced.

Prize

ITF BT50 - U$4000 prize money, divide in the male and female categories 

The Champions and  the runners-up in each category will receive SYDNEY BEACH TENNIS OPEN 2024 Trophy.
